Tuhin Chatterjee is a distinguished dancer, choreographer, and cultural educator serving as the Bibhagiya Adhyaksa – School of Dance (Bharatnatyam, Tagore Dance & Creative Dance) at Bharatiya Kala Vikash Kendra. A “B-High” Grade artist of Doordarshan in Bharatnatyam style, he is widely respected for his excellence in Bharatnatyam, Tagore Dance, Creative Dance, Folk, and Contemporary forms.
Having received advanced training under eminent gurus including Sri Kohinoor Sen Barat, Sri Sujoy Thakur, Smt. Sujatha Ramalingam, Pandit Jyotiprakash Mishra, and Acharya Smt. Anusua Banerjee and others , he has developed a strong artistic foundation rooted in both classical discipline and creative innovation.
His remarkable performance career includes participation in prestigious dance festivals, television productions, cultural events, and choreography projects across India and Bangladesh . Through his association with major platforms such as Doordarshan, Zee Bangla, ETV Bangla and EZCC, he has earned recognition as an accomplished performer and mentor.
At Bharatiya Kala Vikash Kendra, Tuhin Chatterjee, with over 30 years of experience, plays a vital leadership role in guiding students, developing structured dance education, preserving Indian cultural traditions, and promoting artistic excellence through professional training and recognized certification programs.
